Style that can’t be overlooked

“In the beginning there was the rod.” That’s how it all started at NOLDEN in 2007. We were one of the first suppliers to offer LED daytime running light rods for retrofitting. However, the installation situation on vehicle fronts is never flat and at a right angle. We have therefore developed a daytime running light program that in most cases takes the geometry of the vehicle fronts into account. Only with the right contour of the daytime running light does it all work and it always looks like it came “from the factory”.

With the following daytime running light radii we cover 95% of all possible contours on current vehicle fronts:

All models are delivered with modern fiber optic technology, powder-coated aluminum die-cast housing and the corresponding ECE, SAE and EMC approval.

A short technical excursion

Determining the correct installation position for a daytime running light is not that difficult. The X-axis of the vehicle determines the correct installation. The rear heat sink can always be used as a reference surface for NCC® LED daytime running lights. If this is flush with the X-axis, the alignment of the light is correct. This does not apply to daytime running lights with a round design. In this case, the “TOP” marking on the headlight lens applies. Rotation around the X-axis The permissible rotation around the vehicle’s longitudinal axis is specified in degrees. This rotation must be explicitly permitted and recorded in the documentation for the light.

NCC® Short Line 3 LED multi-function light

The NCC® Short Line 3 LED multi-function light is a real all-rounder that has been used by our customers for many years. The 360° rotatability and dimensions make this light absolutely universally applicable. The latest LED light guide technology is of course included. Also available as a multi-function light, daytime running position and indicator light or just an indicator light. The inner panel is available in chrome or black.
