Conventional power sources are often unreliable or only offer short periods of self-sufficiency. Solar systems cannot guarantee a reliable power supply all year round, batteries have a very limited autonomy and generators produce harmful exhaust gases. EFOY and EFOY Pro fuel cells are the ideal power generators to meet all the requirements for stationary and mobile applications.

100% reliable

100% power availability thanks to the hybrid circuit of battery and fuel cell. The EFOY / EFOY Pro fuel cell continuously monitors the state of charge of the battery and charges it automatically – so your application is always reliably supplied with power. The EFOY produces electricity in any weather, at any time of the year, anywhere. The high reliability of the power supply with the EFOY fuel cell reduces costs. Downtimes are avoided.

Long service life, low maintenance

EFOY & EFOY Pro fuel cells provide off-grid power for months – without any user intervention. EFOY Pro uses the fuel methanol – an alcohol with an extremely high energy density. Ten liters contain methanol
11.1 kWh of energy. Four 28 liter fuel cartridges can operate a 50 W device independently for around 26 weeks.

Quiet and environmentally friendly

During operation, only small amounts of carbon dioxide and water are produced. Thanks to the environmentally friendly power generation process, the EFOY & EFOY Pro can also be used in nature reserves as well as in closed vehicles and rooms. The fuel cells are also suitable for use in undercover investigations due to their low-vibration and quiet operation without heat generation.

Lightweight and compact

With a weight of 6-8 kg and a size of 448 x 198 x 275 mm, the EFOY & EFOY Pro fits into any box or control cabinet and can be easily transported.

Remote Monitoring / Remote Monitoring

The EFOY & EFOY Pro fuel cell can be monitored and controlled via modem. It informs the operator about pending fuel cartridge changes, creates planning security and reduces the administration and maintenance effort.

Reduces operating costs

Batteries have a very limited autonomy. Whether in the vehicle, on the construction site or in a control cabinet, if an application is only supplied by batteries, frequent battery changes and thus the costs of keeping the application running are extremely high. With an EFOY fuel cell, deep discharge of the batteries is avoided, self-sufficiency is increased many times over, and downtimes and service intervals are minimized, thus significantly reducing costs.

The right accessories for your fuel cell

There are various optional accessories for your EFOY & EFOY Pro fuel cell¹. Operate the EFOY on site via the control panel or remotely from a laptop, smartphone or tablet. With the EFOY accessories, you can monitor your fuel cells around the clock, integrate them into an existing communication network and extend the autonomy of your systems.

Remote monitoring with EFOY Cloud

EFOY fuel cells are often used in remote locations and require secure remote access. With the EFOY Cloud you have access to your methanol fuel cells from anywhere and can monitor ongoing operation via laptop, tablet or smartphone. All you need is an internet connection to your fuel cells. For example, track the current operating status of each of your fuel cells, historical data or fill levels of the EFOY fuel cartridges. Configure battery parameters as needed and receive firmware updates fully automatically. The integrated alarm management informs you, for example, by e-mail about an upcoming fuel cartridge change or about a battery voltage that is below the limit value.

EFOY fuel cartridge manager for even more self-sufficiency

EFOY fuel cartridges for industrial applications are available with 5, 10, 28 or 60 l content. With the Fuel Cartridge Manager (FM), it is possible to operate several EFOY fuel cartridges on one EFOY. Depending on the model, two, four or eight fuel cartridges can be connected at the same time. The fuel cartridge manager automatically switches from the current to the next full fuel cartridge and ensures a long autonomy time without user intervention.

fuel cartridge sensor The fuel cartridge sensor is used to measure the fill level of the fuel cartridge and emits a signal when the liquid level falls below the position of the sensor.	EFOY Bluetooth adapter The EFOY Bluetooth adapter enables the EFOY and EFOY Pro fuel cells to be controlled via the EFOY app. Not compatible with EFOY Pro 12000 Duo, EFOY Pro 800/2400.	DuoCartSwitch DCS1 The DuoCartSwitch DCS1 enables the operation of up to four fuel cartridges. Only compatible with EFOY Pro 12000 Duo and EFOY Pro 800/2400.

Complete energy solutions for every need

As a system solution provider, SFC Energy is always working on the development of complete solutions for different requirements. EFOY Pro energy solutions combine power generation by EFOY & EFOY Pro fuel cells and power storage by batteries in a suitable housing. At the same time, there is enough room for customer-specific adjustments.

EFOY H₂Cabinets

EFOY H₂Cabinets are turnkey hydrogen energy solutions with integrated EFOY Hydrogen fuel cells. The modular concept enables configuration exactly according to your requirements, for example as a stand-alone system, as an emergency power system or as an uninterruptible emergency power supply for a power range from 2.5 to 50 kW.

EFOY ProCube

The EFOY ProCube is available in two versions, EFOY ProCube 2030A and EFOY ProCube 2060A. Simply assemble the EFOY ProCube according to your needs with the right EFOY Pro fuel cell, battery and fuel cartridge. There is no modification or integration effort. The EFOY ProCube is ideal for applications in the open air or for covert operations.

EFOY ProEnergyBox

The EFOY ProEnergyBox was specially developed for extreme weather conditions. With effective temperature regulation, the waste heat from the EFOY Pro fuel cell can be used when the temperature is below zero to keep the energy solution warm and also to prevent the battery and existing electronics from freezing. An effective heat conduction system was implemented for high ambient temperatures to protect the components in the EnergyBox from heat.

EFOY ProEnergy Case

The EFOY ProEnergyCase is a portable, maintenance-free complete solution for off-grid power supply. Thanks to the robust housing and quick start-up, the EFOY ProEnergyCase is ready for use anytime and anywhere.

EFOY ProCabinet

The EFOY ProCabinet is an outdoor energy solution for off-grid power supply. The complete solution offers enough space for your suitable EFOY Pro fuel cell, batteries and fuel cartridges. No access to the electricity grid is required, electricity is delivered where and when it is needed.

EFOY ProTrailer

The EFOY Pro fuel cell with up to four solar modules is installed in the EFOY ProTrailer. The hybridization of fuel cells and solar modules combines the two power generators in a cost-effective manner. The EFOY ProTrailer thus enables maximum supply flexibility for the respective application.
